| More about Trident Environmental Services & Technologies, Inc. RootZone Humus, & John Wear, Consultant Trident Environmental Services & Technologies, Inc. and John Wear, Consultant, continue effective service to growers, bioremediation projects, and scientific initiatives world-wide. Our recent work with the container design and applications of the highly effective marsh- lands and barrier islands stabilization/protection/remediation technologies, proves successful. We are making the RootZone Humus and bioremediating "grow-cell technology" available, to solve problems wherever our nature-cooperating technologies are needed. Our designs work! Photos on this web page show marshlands applications in oil-contaminated Louisiana wetland,s lake area marshes, and along Gulf of Mexico shorelines affected by the Deepwater Horizon well blow out spill that released 4.1 million barrels of crude (172.2 million gallons) into the Gulf of Mexico. Location of the explosion and resulting spill at Mississippi Canyon 252 lease block (28 degrees, 44.20'N, 88 degrees, 23.23'W), and the direction of Gulf water tides, assured that if the spill was not captured near the well-head, the shores along coastal Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida would be affected. Without serious and efficient capture, landfall of contaminating crude was assured. That is exactly what happened, even though Trident Environmental and John Wear, Consultant, presented an effective plan to capture the oil in the littoral zone and even in the benthic zone, preventing landfall. Wear's plan was not approved, and oil has continued to reach marshlands and barrier islands. Part of the Trident Environmental Services & Technologies plan has been applied to remediation in Louisiana marshlands, near Venice, La. The Container Plantings at Pass-a-Loutre Trident Environmental Services & Technologies, Inc., produces and ships RootZone Humus product that is specially designed for plant stimulation, root growth, protection of rhizomes, and microbial delivery for the digestion and removal of hydrocarbon contamination. The product RootZone Humus Oleophilic Blend, is packaged in large white bags, and delivered to locations near areas of need. In the remediation projects along the coast of Louisiana, RootZone Humus Oleophilic Blend is transfered from Trident's large white bags into the special containers, for plant insertion and deployment into Louisiana marshlands and coastal areas. Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries officials have designated specific sites for deployment. Scientific surveys at deployment areas continue. The plan has proven effective. FAQ Information about RootZone Humus and John Wear, Consultant Below are several frequently asked questions: Do your products contain any secret or unknown ingredients? No, ROOTZONE HUMUS contains no secret or unknown ingredients. My blends may be unique, and product purity and consistency may be unusually good, but there is nothing secret or unknown about my products or the ingredients used to produce them. Are your products environmentally safe? Yes, all Trident products are safe to use. None of my products will harm the environment. Do you claim that your products are "magical" in their benefits to plant growth? No, Trident products are just beneficial to soil, plants, to the environment and people who use the products. The values of high quality organic matter and beneficial microorganisms are known values. My products work well, and stimulate growth while protecting from invasions and contamination. My focus includes providing both stimulation and defenses. I want to benefit soil conditions, provide nutrient fixing at the root-tips, and ensure growth stimulation to roots, stems, and leaves. Would you say that your products are remarkable because they contain "newly discovered," secret principles? Do you promote any entirely new approach to fertilization or plant stimulation? There is nothing surprisingly new about the products developed or represented by me or by Trident Environmental Services & Technologies, or by John Wear, Consultant. My quality control may be unique and highly successful. Results prove whatever we claim. No mysterious concoctions are included in the products or solutions we offer. We are constantly amazed at the value results; (we are easily impressed by the workings and wonders of beneficial bacteria, beneficial fungi, and values of humic and fulvic biochemistry.) Are your products so new that scientists have not heard about them? Are respected universities, the USDA, NOAA, EPA, UN Groups, etc., involved in conducting research which includes products and methods you present and recommend? Since 1974, I have been working on projects related to utilization of organic by-products for soil and plant improvement, increased productivity, and environmental benefit. By about 1989, it began to look like some success was possible . Of course, mankind has been using organic by-products as fertility resources for thousands of years. Through the years, a major problem with much of the organic product development has been consistency and "finishing." Scientists have worked with my products for many years. I eagerly encourage continuing research and use of RootZone Humus, RZH, RZHO, and the liquid products which are made by brewing to produce RootZone Humus Liqud (a "compost tea"). We also recommend methods of application which probably help in the successful results our clients & customers report back to us. Are claimed benefits of your products and services supported by large numbers of "unsolicited" testimonials? Do you promote your products with mainly opinion, or do you support your claims with data from research trials conducted by responsible investigators? One of my main responsibilities as president of Trident Environmental Services & Technologies Corporation, is to seek the attention and the studied opinions of known experts in the fields of environmental science, agriculture, horticulture, turf sciences, enforcement, bioremediation, microbiology, and related disciplines. Some of the most concentrated and helpful investigators have been users of RootZone products; farmers, golf course superintendents, athletic field developers and maintenance crews, and our customers who are maintaining historic live oak trees, gardens of beautiful flowering plants, and some serious vegetable growers. We also appreciate the excellent reports and product evaluations we receive from professional foresters, certified arborists, landscape architects, professional landscapers, and coastal restoration professionals. Do your products have special ingredients which are patented? Do you include exotic microbes or other substances or blends which may prevent providing a laboratory report to examiners or users? No, just uniquely blended and very "bio-active." Laboratory reports and MSDS are found on these web pages.
